Q. How long will I have to wait for delivery of my shower or bath?
A. If the unit is in stock it can be delivered in 7-10 days for special orders delivery takes 8-10 weeks. All deliveries are carried out by our own drivers, we don't use couriers who may damage your goods in transit
Q. Do the showers come pre-assembled?
A. All shower enclosures are shipped and delivered to your door flat packed however the jets, piping and electrical units are pre-assembled with labels showing where to connect to.
Q. How difficult are the units to assemble?
A. All units are supplied with simple assembly instructions and can be easily put together in 2-3 hours by a competent person.
Q. What connections are provided for connection to the water supply?
A. The showers and baths are supplied with flexible hot and cold hoses with 15mm fittings.
Q. Does the shower unit heat the water itself?
A. No, the shower relies on hot water being supplied by your houseold hot water system.
Q. Do I need a pump?
A. This will depend on what type of hot water system you have. If you have a conventional hot water system with hot water tank you will require a pump, a 2-4 bar pump would be adequate enough to give good pressure through all jets.
If you have a pressurised hot water system ie megaflow or a modern combination boiler this should give adequate pressure.
Q. What electricity do I need?
A. A 230/240 volt 13 amp supply should be terminated in the area at the rear of the unit at least 1000mm above the floor
level. It should be connected via a correctly rated RCD with a 30 ma trip mechanism and a double pole isolation switch. A
bonded earth cable must also be provided.
Q. Do World of Water install the units or can you recommend an installer?
A. World of Water do not carry out any installations however we can recommend installers in most parts of the country.
Q. How much would I expect a Plumber to charge for a typical installation?
A. This varies depending on the level of preperation work that needs to be carried out by the installer but average costs
vary from £200.00-£500.00 pounds sterling.
Q. What temperature does the steam go up to?
A. Using the control pad inside the shower you can set the steam temperature at a setting most comfortable to you, it ranges
from 25-60c.
Q. Are the units guaranteed?
A All units come with 12 months parts. All spares are held in stock
Q. Can I extend the guarantee?
A. World of water offer an extended 12 month warranty rates vary depending on model.
